On 29 August 2025, the EnDK approved the "MuKEn 2025" adopted. These are to be transposed into the cantonal energy laws and largely harmonised while preserving cantonal characteristics. Chapter F, Article 1.35, paragraphs 1 and 2 are particularly relevant for the biofuel industry. They stipulate that guarantees of origin (HKN) can be taken into account in the building permit procedure for the replacement of heat generators over the entire service life of the boiler of twenty years.
