Biodiesel ensures climate protection for lorries, buses, tractors and mobile machinery: Updated approval list for commercial vehicles with B20, B30 and B100
Many lorries, buses, tractors and construction vehicles are already approved for higher biodiesel percentages. In the updated approval list, 20 vehicle and engine manufacturers provide an overview of which commercial vehicles and engines can be operated with higher biodiesel blends or pure biodiesel without any problems. “With biodiesel, a renewable fuel of excellent quality is already available in large quantities today,” says Elmar Baumann. He is Managing Director of the Association of the German Biofuels Industry (VDB), which has published the updated approval list for commercial vehicles and NRMM together with the Biodiesel Quality Management Working Group (AGQM), the SME Association for Waste-Based Fuels (MVaK) and other European associations.
