Frying oil diesel for climate protection

Biofuels reduce 600,000 tonnes of CO2 per year in Switzerland - and the trend is rising

There is no way around the "disc-trough-tank" cascade principle. The political will leaves no room for doubt in this respect. Processing food and animal feed into fuel is out of the question in Switzerland. Only waste and residual materials such as frying oil or wood residues are accepted as raw materials for biofuels. The legal basis for this is provided by the CO2 Act.
