The Association of the Swiss Biofuels Industry has given the Swiss bioethanol and biodiesel market a strong boost over the past four years.
"Together with the Swiss Trade Association sgv, the Association of the Swiss Gas Industry VSG and the Petroleum Association EV as well as Migros and Coop, we are calling for the tax exemption on biofuels to remain in place."
In addition to the tax exemption, the quality of the biofuels is important. In future, training courses will be organised for the management of tank farms, etc.
